This weather certainly does not feel like mid-August, but no one here is complaining. Have you seen the forecast for the weekend? It doesn't get much better than that! We have another busy weekend scheduled. Don't forget we have night jumps on Saturday along with a great cookout. Nathan Fey will be cooking up a big feast for us including kebobs on the grill. Also, Sunday we have high-altitude jumps scheduled. Participants must be here at 7:30am for the 8:00am load and 11:00am for the noon load. We will be going to 22,000'. Pre-manifesting is required for both high-altitude and night jumps, so please contact Manifest. Tandem jumps from 22,000' are available.
We continue our record pace this summer. We are doing 100 - 150 first-time jumpers Monday - Friday every week plus 100+ days on Saturdays and Sundays. It's been great for the experienced jumpers as well this season because loads are going up all day long, 7 days week. Don't forget that we offer half price gear rental every Monday - Friday. At this point, it looks like we will stay on our 7 day schedule until the end of September. After that, we will go back to being closed on Tuesdays.
Brian Germain hosted another canopy course last weekend. There were 13 participants and everyone had a great time. Experience levels ranged from 3 jumps to 1,500. Check out his YouTube episode outlining his experience at CSC.

For those of you thinking about getting any instructional ratings this season, we have courses scheduled with Bram Clement of SkydiveRatings.com. Please make sure to book your slot(s) in these courses in advance by contacting Bram.
Back in May, we purchased a mobile billboard truck to advertise CSC. In the past, we've had billboards in the Chicago area costing up to $10,000/month. Clearly, that is not an affordable advertising medium for a little business like ours. Since having this truck on the road, our first-time jumper business has been at an all-time record level. This truck is unique due to the fact that it has 12 advertising surfaces. Our plan is to have CSC on 4 of them and sell advertising space on the other 8. The ads rotate every few seconds and all of the signs are lighted. We are currently driving about 1,000 miles per week focusing on major events, concerts, college campuses, sporting events, block parties, etc. This weekend, you will see our truck at the Chicago Air & Water Show. First and foremost, CSC is not an advertising agency, we are simply looking for other businesses to share the cost of operating this vehicle.
