The weather has decided to cooperate with us and people are trying to get in as many jumps as possible before the end of the season. This past weekend, we flew over 50 Super Otter loads and enjoyed perfect weather. We have quite a few tandem rain checks out there from this season. If you're one of those, don't wait any longer. Give us a call and schedule your jump. The weather forecast for this weekend looks great again.

Please note that we are going to our off-season schedule starting this Saturday - October 14th. The DZ will be open at 9:30am Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from now thru the end of the season. Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday business is by appointment only.

Saturday night was our 3rd Annual Chili Cook-Off. Special thanks to everyone who entered the competition and congratulations to Andy Metcalfe who won the cook-off for the 2nd year in a row. Everyone enjoyed the unique styles and flavors. As you can expect, the party around the bonfire was as good as always.

Sunday and Monday were busy with experienced jumpers and students alike. Late Monday afternoon, we took the Super Otter over for routine maintenance and to swap out some engine components that we had rebuilt last month. Everything, as always, is 100% on the Otter, but it's nice to have the pros look her over and say that everything looks great, especially as we get ready to send her down to Mexico for 6 months!

Coming up this weekend, we have the Deep Fry Fest - $10 all-you-can-eat deep fried turkeys and plenty of other great food. Also, Peter P will be hosting a Texas Hold 'Em Tournament in the heated north hangar. The 16-way team will be training all weekend and we are busy with students so you know the Otter will be flying.

Also, there will be a TV crew at CSC this weekend filming for an upcoming episode of a reality show. Come on out and try to get your 15 minutes of fame.

We only have 3 weekends left with the Super Otter before she leaves for sunny Mexico!

Please remember that all experienced jump packages must be completed by November 12, 2006. No extensions will be given. Unused jumps will be retro-charged at the retail price of $23/jump. IF a positive balance remains on the package account after retro-charging all completed jumps, money will be rolled over to your cash account.
