This past weekend was better than what the weatherman predicted. We were expecting a rained out weekend, but thanks to our first-time students and our dedicated experienced jumpers, we managed to put up 23 loads on Saturday before the winds picked up. Congratulations to all of the MWSL 4-way scrambles competitors. We had a great time and met some new people. Special thanks to Sunpath and Alan Butt for organizing this great event.
Saturday night was our first DagoFest - all-you-can-eat Italian food. Again, the weather wasn't great, but no one left the DZ once they smelled the food cooking. Special thanks to Eric, Randy, Andy, and Piriya. The food was great and the party was fun. Dan Sauer was DJing in the south hangar as most of us huddled around the bonfire. If you are looking for someone to DJ an event, check out Dan's DJ site.
Sunday was a different story. We didn't get any loads up and it has been pouring down rain ever since. Jeff took the Otter on Sunday afternoon and headed over to Middletown, OH to spend the week flying for Team Fastrax. They are down to their last two weeks of training before heading off to US Nationals next month at Skydive Arizona. It has been a great experience working with Team Fastrax and selection.com and we look forward to being a part of their team again next season.
Speaking of selection.com, a congratulations goes out to Jay Stokes who completed 640 skydives in 24 hours this past Friday. The jumps took place at Skydive Greensburg in Indiana. Thanks to Jay's efforts and the help of selection.com, Jay was able to raise money for the United States Special Olympics and the Special Operations Warrior Foundation. Check out Jay's website for photos of his World Record - www.mostjumps2006.com
We scheduled a Caravan to cover us this week while the Otter is away, but have been unable to fly it in due to the poor weather conditions. The Super Otter is returning back to CSC just after lunch on Friday.

Quite a few people mentioned that they did not receive the CSC eNews Update last week. We're not sure why some received it and others did not, but if you would like to take a look at it, click here
Don't forget that the POPS Meet is this weekend. Also, next weekend, Sporto is in town offering freefly load organizing and coaching.
Congratulations:
