skydive update

Have you seen the forecast for this weekend? It doesn't get any better than this - 80 degrees and sunny all weekend! As we speak, Rhythm is training hard at CSC and they will be jumping all weekend. Matty, Kris Tangie, and I will be team training all weekend too. The past few weeks have been at record levels for us with tandem and Freefall University students. It's great to see so many people enjoying CSC. Don't forget this weekend is $18 jumps for experienced jumpers with valid student and/or military ID.

Brian Germain will be at CSC this weekend hosting his very popular canopy course. Brian's program is designed for skydivers of all levels and we had such positive feedback from last years course, we booked him again. There are still 2 slots available for this weekend if you would like to learn Brian's unique style of education based on his experience in skydiving and his extensive parachute engineering and design background.

Last week was our final NSL Meet for the 2008 season. We had a great turnout. Special thanks to everyone for their patience as we had a very busy day here. We strive to keep your wait times less than 20 minutes. Click here for information. Congratulations to CSC Rhythm for breaking the single round record of 22 points with an amazing 25 points in 35 seconds.

Tiffany Lamb is currently in France representing the United States and CSC at the World Parachuting Championships. Keep an eye on Tiffany and Travis here - t hey are the US team under Freestyle Women. They have been training in Maubeuge for the past week and the competition starts on Sunday. Worlds are a huge event for competitors as only the best in each discipline get invited to represent their country.

A reminder about CSC's demo canopy program. We have plenty of Performance Designs canopies in-stock and ready to demo. If you like the canopy, all demos are available for immediate sale. We have the new Storm canopy too! Contact doug@PROskydiving.com for details.

We're happy to announce that Andy Boyd has been reinstated as a load organizer at CSC. Andy was sidelined this year by an exciting slip on his driveway last winter. He has been working hard to develop a program designed to help up and coming jumpers progress. To learn more about Andy's advanced coaching program, click here.

2 weeks ago, the full-time staff took a couple days off for some much needed R & R at the CSC Retreat in Southern Indiana. We flew the Otter down on Sunday night and spent Monday and Tuesday on the lake and then flew back by noon on Wednesday.

Congratulations:

For those of you thinking about getting any instructional ratings this season, we have courses scheduled with Bram Clement of SkydiveRatings.com. Please make sure to book your slot(s) in these courses in advance by contacting Bram.
