This past weekend felt like summer around here. The air-conditioning was running which kept things rolling.There were plenty of people who made 10 - 15 jumps on Saturday alone. That would not have happened without the A/C! Brooke Schultz was here hosting the first ever Pink Mafia event at CSC this weekend and it was a big success. Everyone had a great time during the day and it just got better after the sun went down.

Congratulations to all of the CSC teams who competed at Skydive Chicago this past weekend. We're seeing improvement from every team and the competition is heating up. Learn more about the battle between the CSC Sirens and the SDC Furies. For scores from last weeks event, click here.

This Friday marks the start of our $17 Chill Boogie. The purpose of this 10-day event is to give our jumpers a reason to stay here vs. attending the Convention. This is our second year of this event and are expecting to be busier as the WFFC numbers continue to fall. How can you beat $17 turbine jumps with no entry fee and air-conditioned packing? Also, we are open next Tuesday, so if you were looking to pump out some serious jump numbers, CSC is the place to do it! If you have a package account with us, please let Manifest know if you would like them to charge your package account or cash account for these jumps.

Originally, we had high-altitude jumps scheduled for this Sunday morning, I'm sorry to inform you that we were forced to reschedule them for August 13th. Also, pre-manifesting is required for these jumps. Contact Manifest to reserve your slot(s).

We're coming up on that time of year for equipment inspections and repacks. Don't forget that we have a Master Parachute Rigger on-site. Arianna is here to take care of all of your rigging needs. For example, I asked Arianna to patch my pants last week and she delivered them to me with her own touch of flair. Where else can you get service like that? To schedule a repack with Arianna, contact her ASAP as she is going to get busy. If you don't know when your repack cycle is up, contact Manifest and we can look it up for you. If your rig is here on the DZ, we can deliver it over to Arianna for you and have it ready for the weekend.

Next month, we are hosting our annual AFF Instructor Certification Course. We typically offer this rating in the spring, but after some feedback from you, we decided to push it back to the second half of the season so that the candidates are current and more prepared. It's time to start planning. Also, Bram and Elly Clement need to start staffing this event and will need a fairly accurate head count.
