We finally had a good weather weekend and we took advantage of it. The weekend started off with a great Friday. Saturday was a busy student and experienced jumper day. We flew 29 Otter loads before the clouds rolled in a couple of hours before sunset. We were on pace to break our single aircraft record of 34 loads. We dropped 617 skydivers on Saturday alone. That's an average of more than 21 people per load - crowded for you, good for us! We owe the entire staff a "thank you", especially the girls in the office that keep this whole circus running.

The party on Saturday night was great. We ordered the Ultimate Fighting Championship pay-per-view fight and showed it around the DZ and on the new projector out on the Flight Deck. Things got a bit out of hand, but everyone had a great time.

Consequently, Sunday morning was a slow start, but we still managed to put up 19 Super Otter loads.

This week, we welcome Dan Smith to town. Dan is here to help us with some routine aircraft maintenance. He has over 4,500 skydives and has worked all over the country as a Twin Otter mechanic. We are continuing to use Tom Pecharich to head up our maintenance program, but Dan is helping out while Tom and his wife, Anna, prepare for their first baby this month. OK, this weekend we have Brooke Schultz here for CSC's first ever Pink Mafia Boogie. Don't miss this event! Brooke will be at the DZ Friday - Sunday for freefly organizing. Oh, and if you haven't partied with the Pink Mafia, you'll want to experience that too...

Matty Wright will be back this weekend after a couple of weeks on the road spreading the CSC vibe. With Brooke, Matty, and Patrick Collins - the freefly scene will be great this weekend.
