We hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday season. For many of us, we rang in the new year on the beach! The Puerto Escondido New Year's Boogie was a huge success again. After 3 years of this event, attendance continues to increase with visitors from the US, Canada, and Europe. With absolutely perfect weather, beautiful beaches, amazing food, and great people - you can't go wrong! Special thanks to Antonio and Hector Montano and everyone at Skydive Cuautla for allowing us to be a part of things. We look forward to seeing you again at the Easter Boogie.

After getting some feedback on our new "Buy In" program, we want to take some time to clarify a few things:

First of all, we hope everyone recognizes that this program was launched to reduce the confusion of having two separate accounts (cash and package). From now on, everyone will have one account which is sure to reduce accounting errors. Secondly, the program is designed to reward those who pre-pay for jumps during the off-season with reduced rate skydives. It also serves as a way to incentivize those who make 100+ skydives per year with even cheaper jumps than the initial rate. The more jumps you do, the cheaper they get.

Many people are looking at the jump prices and comparing them to years past. There is definitely a price increase this year. Please keep in mind that crude oil futures increased by 57% in 2007 alone. As experienced jumpers, fuel prices make up a large percentage of what you are paying for and we must pass those costs on to the consumer.

By choosing one of the "buy in" programs, your first 100 jumps will be charged at the price denoted in the top tier of the "buy in" charts (see below). On your 101st jump of the season, subsequent jumps will be reduced to the price on the 2nd tier, on your 201st jump - 3rd tier, etc.

As a bonus, if you are thinking of buying any gear in 2008, you may want to consider investing in the $3,000 buy-in program. Don't forget that the money you pre-pay this season can be used for anything, not just jumps. So by putting more money down, you get the cheapest possible skydives and the money is yours to spend on anything you want at CSC.

As you shop for dropzones and evaluate what makes sense for you financially, please consider our aircraft, facilities, location, load organizers, etc. We want your business and have designed this program to help you save money. If you are still interested in taking advantage of the "buy in" program and missed the first installment date, have a check postmarked by 1/15/2008 and you can still get in.
